BNB Chain integrated Chainlink Data Standard to make U.S. government data available on its blockchain. This integration will help developers building on the BNB chain directly extract data from the verified source rather than relying on third parties.
The world’s largest crypto exchange, Binance’s BNB Chain, has adopted the Chainlink Data Standard to have verified U.S. Department of Commerce data, on-chain. “Sourced from the Bureau of Economic Analysis, Chainlink Price Feeds deliver key government macroeconomic data points such as GDP, the PCE Price Index, and Real Final Sales to Private Domestic Purchasers directly to BNB Chain.”
Responding to the above X post, a crypto netizen stated, “By bridging official U.S. economic indicators through @chainlink, @BNBCHAIN is setting the foundation for data-driven DeFi where macro meets crypto in real time. just think about it, GDP-backed markets, inflation-adjusted yield curves, and transparent risk models all become possible now”
With this initiative, BNB reached a new all-time high of $1,259 after gaining more than 21% during the past week. BNB has broken out from a bull flag, and it keeps heading upwards. Although the breakout from the bull flag has not produced a spike that is the same length as the flag pole, however, the bulls will keep pushing the prices higher. In the event the bulls succeed in keeping the momentum even when the RSI signals overbought conditions, BNB could reach as high as $1,320.
