Three Trump-linked addresses receive Meteora airdrop
According to blockchain analytics firm Arkham Intelligence, three addresses linked to Trump received the $4.2 million airdrop from Meteora. The timing is significant because the airdrop reportedly happened after the class-action complaint sued Meteora’s co-founder, Benjamin Chow, for a $57 million pump-and-dump scheme.
The three Trump-linked addresses that received millions worth of tokens later deposited the full allocation to OKX.
Apart from the Trump team, four other wallet addresses also received the airdrop.
According to reports, the project used endorsements from Trump’s wife, Melania Trump, and Argentine president Javier Milei to deceive investors. He is accused of a $57 million foul scheme that involves tokens such as MELANIA, LIBRA, ENRON, TRUST, and M3M3.
Another interesting fact is, the TRUMP memecoin is built on the Solana blockchain, and the Meteora’s MET tokens are also on the same network, indicating how the airdrop transfer occurred quickly.
