The Abu Dhabi Government is gearing up for its 14th consecutive appearance at GITEX Global 2025, where it will spotlight how artificial intelligence is already reshaping daily life across the emirate. Led by the Department of Government Enablement (DGE), this year’s participation will take place from 13 to 17 October at the Dubai World Trade Centre, under the forward-thinking theme “AI-Native by Design, Community-Driven by Purpose.” DGE will bring together more than 30 government and academic entities.
55 projects demonstrate real-world AI impact
Visitors can expect to see 55 pioneering projects on display, each demonstrating how AI is already improving life for millions. Among the highlights:
- TAMM 4.0, the newest version of the government’s unified super app, delivering hundreds of AI-powered services.
- Smart Investigator and AI Supervisor from Abu Dhabi Police, enhancing safety and operational efficiency.
- Smart Hotel Check-In from the Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT), which uses facial recognition to make hotel stays seamless.
A people-first approach to digital transformation
“In Abu Dhabi, we’re designing every public service around people’s needs,” said Ahmed Tamim Hisham Al Kuttab, Chairman of DGE. “Being AI-native by design means rethinking government from the ground up — making it more intuitive, personal, and responsive. By working as one ecosystem, we’re building a digital future where innovation serves a clear purpose: empowering communities and preparing for tomorrow.”
For the first time, many of these projects will be unveiled to the public. Visitors can also step into the role of six different VR personas.
Other standout innovations include:
- A Personal AI Recruitment Companion, simplifying hiring across government.
- QMobility’s AI-powered parking system, enabling barrier-free, ticketless parking.
- Rayah, a Department of Education and Knowledge mobile app that helps parents monitor student progress.
New TAMM Spaces like Sahatna, offering integrated health services through a single touchpoint. “TAMM has grown to more than 1,100 services, a milestone made possible by more than 90 public and private sector partners working together as one,” said H.E. Dr. Mohamed Al Askar, Director General of TAMM. “This next version of TAMM is our smartest and most seamless yet — a true reflection of what collaboration can achieve.”
Building a smarter, more human future
Abu Dhabi’s digital transformation continues to gain momentum through over 80 strategic partnerships with global tech leaders.
“To date, we have assessed almost 400 AI-powered solutions across Abu Dhabi Government and have now deployed more than 100 of the most impactful” said H.E. Wesam Lootah, Director General at DGE. “These initiatives go beyond efficiency – empowering our public sector workforce to solve complex challenges, anticipate needs, and create greater value for society.”
Through its participation at GITEX Global 2025, the Abu Dhabi Government is reaffirming its role as a global leader in digital governance — one that’s smart, human-centered, and ready for the AI-driven future.
