The amount of tokens released into the crypto space on a weekly basis has drastically dropped. From unlocking $5 billion worth of tokens in mid-September to unlocking just $1 billion this week, the token unlocks have seen a clear drop. From October 6-12, tokens worth about $900 million are scheduled to be unlocked, and today about $55 million will enter circulation.
Avantis (AVNT) to unlock 13 million tokens tomorrow
Base’s largest derivatives exchange for RWA and crypto assets is Avantis, and AVNT is the native utility and governance token of Avantis. At the time of writing AVNT is trading at $0.89 after losing more than 27% during the past 7 days. However, the tokens’ trading volume has risen by nearly 16% reaching $317 million.
With the already falling price, AVNT will unlock 12.23 million AVNT tokens into the market. The unlock, which is worth about $11 million will happen tomorrow in three rounds. With this unlock of 1.22% of the total supply, the total unlocked tokens will reach almost 20%.
Returns for Q3 of 2025 on AVNT were approximately 380% while the return for Q4, which has more than 70 days to go, is in the negative zone at almost -30%.
DeFi.app (HOME) will unlock $10 million
From managing crypto assets, connecting wallets, to interacting with multiple DeFi protocols, the DeFi.app is a dashboard for DeFi protocols. DeFi.app’s token HOME is currently trading at $0.029 after losing more than 2.5% during the past 7 days. In the next couple of days, more than 330 million HOME tokens will be unlocked in 2 rounds.
The unlock, which is worth about $10 million, will see 28% of the total supply into the market. The next unlock will be on November 10, where an unlock of 112.34M (1.12% of Max Supply) worth about $3.34M (4.06% of Market Cap) will be unlocked.
Linea will unlock a fourth of the total supply
