Building on the immense success of its inaugural run, the Bitcoin MENA conference is set to return to Abu Dhabi with a significantly expanded footprint and strategic timing. ADNEC Group and BTC Inc Group jointly announced the second edition of the premier Middle East and North Africa Bitcoin gathering will take place on December 8-9, 2025.
The conference is strategically scheduled to open the day after the Abu Dhabi Formula One Grand Prix, offering international attendees a spectacular experience at the intersection of high-speed sport and cutting-edge finance. The event will once again take over the Marina Hall at ADNEC Centre, promising more exhibition space, an enhanced outdoor area, world-class speakers, and premium networking, including luxury yachts berthed right at the venue.
Doubling down on regional influence
The 2024 debut firmly established Bitcoin MENA as the essential Bitcoin event for the Middle East and North Africa region. That inaugural event attracted over 10,000 visitors, 190 speakers, 100 exhibitors, and 500 brands, bringing together influential voices from government, business, and finance.
Last year’s lineup featured prominent figures, including Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization Eric Trump, Prince Filip of Serbia, The Bitcoin Standard author Saifedean Ammous, and Abdulla Al Dhaheri of the Blockchain Centre Abu Dhabi.
Humaid Al Dhaheri, Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNEC Group, emphasized the event’s importance to the city’s digital asset aspirations.

David Bailey, CEO of BTC Inc., highlighted the overwhelming response to the initial conference and the need to scale up for 2025.

The UAE’s conducive environment—including zero VAT on Bitcoin transactions and consistent government support for digital asset innovation—has cemented Abu Dhabi’s role as a pivotal node in Bitcoin’s global expansion.
New features for 2025
The second edition of Bitcoin MENA will introduce several enhancements:
- Expanded Exhibit Hall: A larger floor plan will accommodate more companies, startups, and activations, showcasing the latest in Bitcoin infrastructure, mining, financial services, and software.
- Enhanced Outdoor Activation Zone: A redesigned open-air space will be optimized for premium networking, live content, and food experiences.
- Strategic Timing: Opening directly after the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix provides an integrated, high-value experience for international travelers.
- Elevated Side Events: A curated calendar of receptions, workshops, and satellite events will surround the main program, ensuring opportunities for deeper engagement across the Bitcoin ecosystem.
