 GITEX GLOBAL 2025, the world’s largest tech and AI event, returns to the Dubai World Trade Centre from 13–17 October, showcasing cutting-edge innovation from 6,800 tech companies and 2,000 startups representing 180 countries.

As artificial intelligence continues to reshape the world, its ability to solve once impossible challenges—from curing genetic disorders to building climate-efficient data centres—is accelerating at an unprecedented pace. With the global AI market projected to reach $4.8 trillion by 2033 (UNCTAD), the race to harness AI’s potential across critical sectors is intensifying.

A global stage for transformative technology

This year’s edition of GITEX will spotlight advancements in biotech, physical AI, semiconductors, quantum computing, and next-generation data centres. Tech giants, including Google, Microsoft, AWS, Huawei, IBM, Oracle, Dell, e&, G42, and Salesforce, will headline the exhibition, alongside emerging disruptors such as Cerebras, Datadog, Tenstorrent, and Qualcomm.

Expand North Star: the startup powerhouse

Running in parallel at Dubai Harbour from 12–15 October, Expand North Star marks its 10th edition as the world’s largest startup showcase, hosted by the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy. The event will connect 2,000 of the world’s fastest-growing startups with 1,200 investors overseeing US$1.1 trillion in assets.

Record participation from fast-emerging tech economies

This year features record international participation, with Brazil joining as Country Partner alongside major delegations from Serbia, Chile, Canada, Spain, Türkiye, and Ecuador.

AI frontiers: from gene editing to quantum computing

In quantum computing, IBM’s Quantum System Two and PsiQuantum’s roadmap to quantum sovereignty will take centre stage.
