Bitcoin Inc. (BTC Inc.) and Amsterdam Decentralized, the organizers behind Europe’s premier Bitcoin gathering, have announced that Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, co-founders of the crypto exchange Gemini, will headline the highly anticipated Bitcoin Amsterdam Conference, scheduled for November 13 and 14, 2025.
The brothers’ participation arrives at a pivotal time for Bitcoin adoption across the continent. Earlier this year, Winklevoss Capital invested in Treasury, a euro-denominated Bitcoin treasury company that is rapidly positioning itself as a key player in the European market. Treasury recently secured a massive €126 million funding round to acquire over 1,111 Bitcoin and is preparing to become Europe’s first publicly listed Bitcoin treasury firm through a reverse listing on Euronext Amsterdam.
As part of its strategy, Treasury acquired the Bitcoin Amsterdam conference and partnered with BTC Inc. to significantly boost Bitcoin engagement, education, and awareness throughout Europe.
Pioneers take the stage
Cameron Winklevoss expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming event, highlighting the conference’s importance in the global financial dialogue.
“We look forward to joining Bitcoin Amsterdam this year,” said Cameron Winklevoss. “The conference is a critical forum for advancing dialogue around Bitcoin in Europe and Tyler and I look forward to sharing our perspective on where Bitcoin is headed and how it is shaping the broader financial ecosystem.”
For the conference’s new owners, securing the Winklevoss twins is a major coup that underscores their ambition.
“It’s great to welcome Tyler and Cameron to Bitcoin Amsterdam as we strengthen Bitcoin’s relevance across Europe,” said Khing Oei, Founder and CEO of Treasury. “Bringing pioneers of this caliber to the first edition hosted by Treasury reflects our commitment to building a hub for Bitcoiners and advocates alike. At Treasury, our goal is not only to become the largest Bitcoin treasury company in Europe, but also to champion Bitcoin’s role in transforming global financial markets.”
A global forum for Bitcoin’s future
Bitcoin Amsterdam has established itself as the leading platform in Europe for bringing together voices that shape global conversations on the asset.
Brandon Green, Chief of Staff at BTC Inc., noted the significance of the co-founders’ attendance. “Having Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss on stage this year underscores our commitment to featuring the most influential leaders shaping Bitcoin’s future,” Green said. “Their perspective as both entrepreneurs and early Bitcoin investors will make for one of the most anticipated sessions of the conference.”
Previous editions of Bitcoin Amsterdam have hosted a diverse roster of innovators, freedom advocates, and policymakers, including Stella Assange, Adam Back, Jack Mallers, and Alex Gladstein.
With over 5,000 attendees expected, Bitcoin Amsterdam 2025 promises to be the most impactful edition yet, showcasing a diverse lineup of educators, policymakers, industry leaders, and innovators ready to discuss Bitcoin’s accelerating role in the global economy.
