From Kyiv to Dubai, Maryna Motylenko is shaping the future of Web3 communication

I don’t treat failure as defeat. It's an experience that will then allow me to go even further, said Maryna Motylenko

In the fast-moving world of Web3 — where technology often leads but human connection lags behind — Maryna Motylenko is quietly changing the game. Born in a small industrial town in Ukraine and raised in the vibrant city of Kyiv, Maryna isn’t just another tech entrepreneur. She’s a storyteller, a builder, and a bright spark igniting meaningful change in one of the world’s fastest-growing innovation hubs: Dubai.

This is the journey of the visionary founder behind ‘Best In Media’, a creative lab for Web3, tech, and innovation-driven companies—now making waves on the global stage.

From the very beginning, curiosity was her compass. “I was always experimenting, exploring, asking questions,” she recalls. Whether organizing neighborhood plays or diving into childhood science kits, Maryna was unknowingly laying the groundwork for a life rooted in creation, communication, and community. Encouraged by parents who believed in possibilities rather than limitations, she learned early on to dream boldly—and act even bolder.

    Technology and family computer

Her fascination with technology began with a family computer. “It was love at first click,” she laughs. What started as a childhood pastime quickly turned into a powerful toolkit—design, writing, and creative problem-solving—that would become her foundation in a digital-first world.

Maryna’s early career took shape in the worlds of public relations and luxury events. She built her first agency, ‘MAYA PR’, from the ground up—delivering campaigns for global brands and stars, including a film with Jean Reno and collaborations with top-tier fashion houses. “It was all about creating iconic moments,” she says. But over time, she craved something more dynamic, more future-facing.

That moment arrived in 2022, when she took a leap of faith and moved to Dubai. “The energy here is contagious,” she says. “People aren’t just dreaming big—they’re building big. And I wanted to be part of that.”

    Blockchain, AI, and the Metaverse

Surrounded by trailblazers in blockchain, AI, and the Metaverse, she noticed a crucial gap: while the tech was advancing rapidly, the storytelling wasn’t keeping pace.

“I saw incredible products with zero emotional connection,” she explains. “People weren’t telling their stories—they were just pitching. And that’s not how you build trust or community.”

Maryna stepped in to bridge that divide. Her work on the first Eco Forum in the Metaverse — blending sustainability with immersive digital spaces—was a turning point. “It showed me that Web3 isn’t just code or hype. It’s a space where real stories can live, breathe, and inspire.”

Communication should never be an afterthought. It’s part of the product

She launched ‘Best In Media’ with her own savings and a clear mission: to translate complexity into clarity. Her approach—blending strategy, empathy, and sharp creative execution—quickly gained traction. Her team, handpicked for talent and trust, reflects her core values: precision, accountability, and excellence. “I have zero tolerance for careless work or inflated egos,” she says. “We’re here to deliver, not perform.”

    Communication in Web3 isn’t a luxury

To Maryna, communication in Web3 isn’t a luxury, it’s essential. “Startups think they need to wait until their product is perfect. But your story is what builds your community. It’s what people connect to first.”

Today, she leads global campaigns, curates NFT activations, and helps founders make their ideas not just heard, but felt. And she’s just getting started.

“Web3 is the future of identity, ownership, and expression,” she says. “We’re only scratching the surface of its creative potential.”

Looking ahead, Maryna envisions ‘Best In Media’ becoming the go-to storytelling powerhouse for Web3 and tech in the MENA region and beyond. She’s also expanding into education and digital products to help more founders understand not just how to pitch, but how to shape culture.

Her biggest personal lesson? “You can’t do everything at once. Delegation changed my life. And I’ve learned to see ‘no’ not as rejection, but as redirection.”

With bold projects on the horizon—from international events to immersive digital experiences — Maryna Motylenko isn’t just telling the story of Web3.

    She’s helping write its future.
