Efe Kelemci, known by the name CryptoKid began his crypto journey at the age of 12. From first trades and painful lessons to spotting hype, picking underdogs, and thinking long-term, this conversation cuts through the noise to show how Gen Z sees crypto differently.

The life before crypto for the crypto kid was also very interesting. From a musical theatre actor, then a voice actor to finding his own form of income, he ventured into the crypto space. 

“I was bored during the pandemic and school was getting a little complicated.” Efe spoke of the moment that led him to exploring crypto. “I just didn’t want to do what I didn’t want to do,”he added. 

He finds the younger generation exploring crypto, chasing quick money, while the older generation understands that it has to be taken slow. He said he would advise his 7 year-old self to buy bitcoin instead of playing video games.
